i feel this man. orange pilling as a concept is pretty cringe/ineffective imo.

some close friends I worked hard to help with this stuff years ago also blew it similarly many times over or laughed me off, and always crawl out of the woodwork when the price pumps or weirdly approach my family.

strategy now is to basically never talk about it irl unless someone close asks for help in good faith and with genuine curiosity. bar to get in irl inner circle only grows with the risks… had 6 figures stolen from me by who I thought was my best friend this past cycle.

finding the tradeoffs for relative success a bit weird. but as an introverted person I think btc helped me focus on bettering myself on this solo expedition. in the end people need to edify themselves

Just want to point out though that if one were to (hypothetically of course) use bitcoiners’ reactions to decisions and actions over at Bitcoin Magazine™️ as a gauge for this, that would not be a very reasonable assessment

So, mental health action is high up on the list of things I advocate for. Be it meditation, therapies, reducing isolation for others through language acquisition, you name it, I champion it.

Well, member how 2 days ago I wrote a note about being asked to go to CBS to speak about my nonprofit? I thought I was joining a panel of 4 small businesses owners talking about our different work in Michigan.

Turns out, it was a ruse! 💜A team member from MTVs Social Impact team flew to Michigan to surprise me on air saying that my nonprofit was a winner of their Mental Health Action Grant.

I’m still shocked. My family was proud of me, my mom bless her brilliant heart has been airing CBS all day since she saw me on tv, and I’m just so thankful for the time + additional resources to continue the work we do.
