I totally get it, that step will be replaced next week with a better method. There is no zapr backend the key is stored in IndexedDB and all signing happens on the local device key is never sent anywhere.

That said for early testing a newly created nostr key pair should be created until I replace the need for capturing the nsec

I have an idea I want to float to native nostr app devs, I’ll share that next week but if a client implements it then I think it’s a game changer (removes the need for shortcut completely and would offer a far better UX)

Today I used nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg for sending zaps during #zapathon. Still using it with a test npub so I utilized the custom feeds feature to view Nostr as corndalorian so I could still zap the people I follow. I also used the zapathon hashtag feed. It’s so convenient to be able to switch between the various feeds like that. 🤯 I installed chrome on my device earlier today and was disappointed that I couldn’t do this, has it just rolled now?
ZapPicker update, I was finding it a bit tricky to hit the 3 dotted menu on notes in @Damus, my tap registers about 30-40 percent of the time.
No biggie, I’ve just added support for handling website urls so now I can use either Copy note ID or Copy Link to #zap I never miss the share button so it’s perfect.
I’ve also removed the need for the flow to open up a browser app, it’s actually feeling really slick to use now vs the video uploaded an hour ago 🤙
