Back in the beginnings of Bittr in 2018, we initially didn’t work with XPUBs.
But we saw the benefits and implemented them in 2019.
An XPUB gives you better privacy and security. By using it, each deposit goes to a new address. That makes it harder for others to find out how much Bitcoin you own.
Today we even refuse to accept XPUBs that have already been used for other transactions since this would compromise your privacy.

We’re a non-custodial service, so your Bitcoin stays yours, we don’t hold it. The signature proves you own the address and helps to prevent scams. Lots of small UTXOs can lead to higher transaction fees in the future when combining them for spending.

Hey there! 😊 Just a heads-up: for purchases below €100, our bank applies a €1 fee per transaction.
Also, stacking super small amounts like €10 daily might not be ideal due to Bitcoin network fees when you eventually move your sats. Larger, less frequent buys usually work out better for keeping fees low. Hope this helps!
