I actually do like the anime, it's just some scenes can be very uncomfortable to watch, and I get it, maybe the whole thing with reincarnation means he's genuinely a kid now and all of that jazz ā it's a big topic in japanese and other eastern fantasy media.
Got to the "actual" second season and it's interesting seeing how Rudeus can screw up so badly by just being himself. Well, I'm glad we're exploring more of his character, and the story so far has been pretty good, too.
Let's hope and see.

Atelier Ryza is such a cute game, although the level of polish is less tban ideal. Seriously, couldn't they have just given the characters transition animations for when they start and stop running? Movement feels very choppy, and the mouth flaps during cutscenes could be a tad faster.
