𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗹, 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻, 𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻, 𝗥𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗮, 𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝘂𝗯𝗮𝗶 𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲. I've never seen that.

I have friends in Africa, and they wanted to live in Europe. They came to Austria, and two of them came to Berlin. After two years, they went back because their children were protesting. They said, 'We are not going to this school.' They had a comparison because they had seen their schools at home."

"Around Germany. Let's say I'm in Austria. 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝘁𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱, it's allowed in so many countries. But there is like a big bubble, a big mind bubble, and a big media bubble around Germany. And mostly when I'm around in Germany and I have my speeches, they say, '𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮?? 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗱??? 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘇𝘆?'

Yeah, that's normal here and in America. In some regions, about 30-50% are homeschoolers; they go crazy about that. And usually, they tell me, '𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗵, 𝘄𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆. 𝗪𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱. 𝗪𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱.' And they always have a problem with my first question.

'Have you ever seen another education system in any other country? Have you ever visited, let's say, Kenya in Africa? Have you ever been in Vietnam? Have you ever been in Pakistan? Have you ever been in Peru? Have you ever been in Sweden?'

No, we have the best here. But yet you have to compare it to something."

This is what kids want to learn in #school 👇  🧠

"We want to learn only things that we can use in our daily life. We want to learn to read, write, and make basic mathematics. Because I see my parents reading, I see my parents writing, but I'm not seeing my parents learning formulas. I'm not seeing that they use something in mathematics that you learn when you are 19 years old, and they don't know what happened 4325 before Christ in France. They don't know. They forget it. And they don't need it in their daily life.

Of course, in every school, there is one student who wants to learn everything about history, everything about physics, everything about biology. Of course, they can learn that. But why should 99% of the other students be bothered, having to learn something they don't want in life and don't need in life just for this one person? That's stupid.

We could learn a lot of other things that we could use in daily life. Like how to be lucky, how to grow your own food, how to live with your emotions, how to talk freely in front of other people, and how to create your own house in the future."

🤐 I needed to re-learn laughing and having fun/play - and I still remember a scene from the beginning of this year quite good: I wanted to give my little dog a piece of butter, I failed at aiming, he failed at catching, and the butter landed on his eye. He could smell the butter, but not see it and was searching like crazy - and I KNOW it's a 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 #stupid situation, but I laughed my a** off! And I thought, wow, when I was younger, laughing like this was my default, now it is a special event.

When I meet outstanding people, I always want to discover their background story - the why. Ricardo Leppe, founder of the educational platform Wissen Schafft Freiheit:

"I've lived three years in Peru, in South America. We lived in the mountains in I think it was 3200 meters 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲. No electricity, no cars, no money there. And I lived there from age five to eight.

It was a really, really cool childhood when 𝗺𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲, to live symbiotic way with the nature, and we were taught to improve ourselves and to believe in ourselves and that I'm good as I am and very different to our school system in Europe.

Then we came back to Europe. I went to normal school, but normal is a very stretchable word. We in the morning, my parents came into my room and knocked at the door, and they said good morning, Ricardo. 𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆? 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗳 𝗜 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗻𝗼, 𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄. 𝗔𝘀𝗸 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻. 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗶𝘁. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽. And sometimes I said, okay, ask me next week again."

"One of the more beautiful things about comedy is that comedians tend to stand for the truth. So you might have a few assholes who are spewing #propaganda, but I think in the end, the truth wins because you have people like Joe Rogan and you mentioned Bill Burr earlier when we were talking privately, and they really are not afraid to say what they feel needs to be said. And so I do think comedians have a very powerful role to play in the world, especially when it comes to propaganda because we got to fight the propagandists with the communication tools and tactics that they are using. But I see us as using them for good to expose the manipulative, influential agendas that they tried to put forth."
