Good point. Catching up on the day and the news is worse than I thought. The actual VP and Cabinet using Signal? Unreal. Staffers use signal in really clear circumstances for really limited/time bounded references. Wild that the Cabinet and VP are using it themselves in an official capacity. The US President wanted into Signal circa 2019-20 and couldn’t get access. It is sincerely the most secure messaging in public use. And, now everyone knows it’s utilized by the White House. Bless.
Hope this puts to rest all the Signal privacy things though. Signal is the most secure messaging app in the world.
It isn’t of course all that’s used, nor is it recommended for anything that’s actually sensitive, or lengthy comms. This is a mess but I’d expect nothing more from this Admin and our global standing.
