Freezing drinks and soda that not normally freezable is as an experiment of junior Science chemistry at home. It has to be mixed or done right or it will not work or explode. Such as notes I left about equalizing the pressure by open the cap or top of bottles first.
Depends on the bottle size? Well..Yes! Even size matters! I've tried this ice soda trick even with large empty water bottles from the gas station or wal-mart, publix, grocery-shop. Instead of recycling the bottles that are huge, medium or small, I clean them and re-use them. Bigger the bottle more soda at the bottom can be frozen, even works with wine. if' you put a-tiny-bit-of-water in the wine, not a lot, just enough to mix it to freeze it. Wine will freeze in the freezer too! Then you can melt the wine wile working in yard it will then turn to wine slushy with ice cube bits. Yummy! Trick: Cap must be open on the water bottle. No pressure. Cap open. Water bottle.
Trick Pt2: (This with bottle cap open keeps the soda from over spilling wile freezing in the freezer) Fill soda pop only half way near the bottom only. Only nearly Half way full. More to the bottom.
Note: Rest is done by filling with soda after frozen at the bottom half of the water bottle.
Note two: This works with multiple water bottles freezing over night. For more hard frozen soda iced, two nights in the freezer.
You can use the same soda flavor to fill rest of bottle later or mix it with other soda pop flavors.
Great for the hot summer or warm night inside with frens and family. Or even movie or gaming night.
