People would rather protect the temporary peace and comfort of the present at the expense of everything important in the future. That goes against one of the most valuable traits of the human… the innate ability to delay immediate gratification for a better future. Then wonder why they are miserable in the future. Everybody knows exactly what they need to do in order to get where they need to be in life. But the majority chooses to feel sorry for themselves and make excuses as to why they don’t. You create your reality.. if you say you are strong and happy, then you are. If you say you’re not, then you’re not. It’s a choice. Choose wisely.
Why do you think it’s so admirable for people with the worse disabilities that do great things in life? Because they decided to not fall into that victim trap and still make the most out of life in the best way they could. Imagine being blind and still thinking “it could always be worse” .. you can’t knock that person! So to have all senses and functionalities and still make excuses is absolutely absurd!
Everybody knows what they need to do in order to get where they want to be in life. They make excuses for why they don’t bc they are soft and feel sorry for themselves rather than standing up tall & strong and taking responsibility and ownership of their lives. Not everything is suppose to be easy and we are not supposed to be happy everyday. That wouldn’t be life. It damn sure wouldn’t be interesting.
If you tell someone about your growth or progress in your life and their first immediate response is an excuse as to why they aren’t growing then they truly don’t support or care about you. That’s jealously and it’s toxic. Stay away from those people. Over time I’ve noticed how my support for people wasn’t reciprocated and it’s bothering to my core bc that’s energy and love wasted on somebody that’s a nobody
