Do OG Bitcoiners (lets say 2+ cycles) forget what it's like for people that have an uncertain future when they no longer have to worry about money? There seems to be a overly confident demeanor from them. "You'll be rich someday don't worry" etc.
Like dude, you probably have at least 20 bitcoin already or the ability to buy at least that if you liquidated your excess property etc.
Bitcoin going from $1000 to $70K and you losing some of it along the way is different than someone sinking their life savings into something and hoping they're right for the first time in their financial life. The world will need to be completely flipped on its head and Bitcoin will need to overtake the entire financial regime and if so the newcomers may have the hope that they can retire in a decade.
I'm not saying that one path is easier or harder than another looking back once you're already there, but the new people had to put in WAY more years worth of value into Bitcoin and still take a 80% downtrend and have zero chance of ever seeing the types of gains that the OGs have and will see.
Don't diminish where others are at. The struggles of each epoch of bitcoiners will differ slightly.
It will be a sad day if I need to shut down or transfer Sovereign Craft to another location. I like Bitcoin lightning on Minecraft, but it's a target too. We all are.

My #Minecraft server has a DNS block on it. It's an educational #Bitcoin integrated @Minecraft server that breaks no rules. If @Microsoft successfully blocks me, by code goes public.
There is no money in game it's only a very efficient financial bridge. It's a value for value player led economy like no other. There is no gambling aspects, no pyramid scheme and it's even largely unprofitable.
I can't guarantee the ethics and honesty of others servers built on the same technology.
I'm open to showing how were different to anyone who cares to put in the effort. I believe we are a positive addition to the Minecraft community.
Being banned by #Minecraft shows me two things. They don't understand what I'm doing and why it's good. 2, I'm doing something right because I'm being noticed. This was expected because people don't get it.
I am open to discussion with @Mojang or @Minecraft to discuss why what I'm doing is not bad in anyway and is actually better and more empowering to players, it's simply more advanced and open economy between players.
It's all worth it when someone gets it or when someone new learns about the possibilities of the future of money.
When someone knows what we're doing they're blown away by the level of integration we have it's uplifting too and makes the barely profitable model entirely worth it. Welcome @WallStreetBTCX , it is great to have you and to have some recognize what we're doing.

What is so important about Sovereign computing? With the ever increasing capabilities of AI companies can now automate their scanning of your data and if the Algo finds something, good luck getting it back. I've seen this first hand with a business user on drop box. He never got his company data back!

The idea of Bitcoin is to take away control from central banks. The central immutable ledger is key to this, but no central ledger can scale to the amount of global transactions to satisfy the whole world without significant undesirable trade offs.
Some Bitcoiners think that self custody on layer one is the only way, but this is an eletist view. It can't scale. How are you then any better than the existing system if you do not want to promote, use and support layers, payment network, sidechains etc. on bitcoin and rather promote some abstraction unit for spending? How does your model fix anything for the majority of people? We must build and support Bitcoin native technology that can replace the existing systems or we will not decentralise the systems for the average consumer. Decentralization and self custody are not the same and L1 cannot be touched by the majority of people on the planet. Decentralization and transparency built into the systems built on top of Bitcoin is the best model I can come up with.

Also, you don't connect it to your node unless you're a psychopath. Pools are the way to go, just research them. Then you get incremental rewards even if you dont find a whole block, which you likely never will with an S9.
