Good morning nostr, i need to get going early so i can feed the chickens before church. And now we have the lost dog in our dog pen, so i want to to take her for a walk before we leave. We've been asking around, so far no one has claimed her, so we are calling her Lucy for now. She has no basic training, none. So yesterday i started getting her used to a leash, sit, stay. She looks like a australian shepherd and seems pretty smart. The only other thing we plan to do is take her to a vet to see if she's chipped. After that we'll know that we've done all we can to find her owners. Anyway, its something else to have to do, but if it was meant to be, then she'll become part of our family. I still think the timing of this is not coincidental. One day after we had to put our old Lou down. Took a huge humility pill today on my first #50K race. It was just too soon after the marathon race in mid October.

I was aiming for sub 9:00 /mi and ended up with 9:53 /mi after the wheels came off on mile 21.

Miles 1 - 10: 8:45 /mi

Miles 11 - 20: 8:42 /mi

Miles 21 - 30: 11:45 /mi
