In a deflationary environment, where your money worth more over time in terms of goods you can buy. It is normal that people tend to spend on less unuseful things. And spend less in general.

Inflation is not the solution to spend more. Better products and services are the solution to spend more.

If money is spent on useful good things, then the amount of spent money could be proportional to the wellness of an economy.

But if the value of a money decreases, and that is the reason for spending, then there is small or no correlation at all to the wellness of an economy, because people are not spending on things that makes their life better.

So in an inflationary environment, GDP makes little to no sense to measure.

Celebrating one month on #Nostr today!

To sum up my brief time here…

Nostr, a simplified social experience.

Here, there is no algorithm pushing what an entity wants me to see.

There are no ads attempting to sell me things I don’t need.

There are no NPCs here. I can speak with real, like minded people and share ideas in an instant.

If I see content I like, I can pay the creator in #Bitcoin and if I create and good content, people can pay me in Bitcoin.

If I want to be discovered, the capacity in which I’m found is up to me.

I want to take this time to express my gratitude to all the people who have helped me, followed me, commented on my notes and replies, zapped me, and overall just made my time here one of the highlights of my year. This community is the best.

Here’s to all of us and the future.
