I also think the lack of notifications and the lack of focus on follower counts as a dampener encouraging people to post more naturally rather then to submit to the algorithm. I suspect it’s behind the strong signal vs noise you are experiencing

it’s actually pleasant because you feel like you are in control. You check when you want, no notifications and spam emails constantly pulling you to the app to stay there all day. I hope these things are considered when you do finally implement notifications. Default should be silence. It’s also nice to see @jack in his element - almost feels like early days of twitter.

ok will embedded images using data urls be supported. The spec doesn’t seem to say anything on this. This might mean it stored inline in the content field

have you considered rebuilding it in flutter? So you can go multiplatform? The iOS version looks like native. There are good dart libraries for nostr via nostr.console
