Yesterday, a friend asked me if we would see the day when willpeople say, “Be humble, stack sats.”instead of merry Christmas. It would be nice, really. I would love for that to happen. #bitcoin is real money.
Christmas, at least for me has lost it luster for the last decade or more. Maybe it’s because I’m not a child and my kids are all grown up living their lives. But as I continue experiencing this life, reading/learning, I question our programmed traditions. Where did Christmas really come from? Easter? So on and so on. At least for Christmas, I’ve learned it really is Saturnalia, the winter equinox. How many practicing Christians know that or know and care, or in denial of where the holiday may have come from. The more I learn the more I realize, I don’t know much about anything.
