First yoga I’ve done in way too long and so of course the video on the Yoga With Adriene calendar today is an hour long (they vary but I feel like most are more like 30 minutes). Well here we go! I can’t believe I used to do 3-5 hour long hot yoga sessions a week. Seems crazy now!
I should really be more mindful of Ring doorbell cameras when I'm housesitting. Who knows what kind of absolutely silliness they capture me saying or singing.
The fact that there are Beatles Yellow Submarine Crocs is almost enough to make me buy Crocs. ALMOST. I had to wear them as a prisoner extra in Idiocracy and thought they were the most uncomfortable shoes ever. And perfect use of them as they look like shoes that would be issued to prisoners.

Sitting in with SKYROCKET! is always a pleasure but tonight was extra cool. Jack Hues of Wang Chung sang “Dance Hall Days” with us. And I got to play saxophone. So, yeah, pretty awesome night.

As someone who loves to hype things that I enjoy, I hate that we live in an age now where if I say “I really like this thing!” many people assume I got paid to say that. Also if I had been, I would be required to divulge that. I just love spreading the word about things I like!
Now that things have quieted down a bit (to a merely manageable state of busy), I just found myself having a quiet moment of nothing to myself, which suddenly got interrupted by the thought "SURELY THERE'S SOMETHING I NEED TO BE URGENTLY WORKING ON, RIGHT?" Nah, it's cool, man. You can have this.
Preparing for a 2 week house/pet sit starting tomorrow and unfortunately, as usual, the various projects I’m preparing for means I have to bring SO MUCH STUFF. Keyboard, 2 saxophones, guitars, at least one bass, maybe two, accessories and more.
It finally happened to me. A song I wanted to hear not available on streaming. I saw that Eric Dover had a new Sextus EP out on their website and it reminded me how much I loved their song “Obsessed.” Only available on their website I think. Luckily I already own it.
Let’s all get marshmalllows for tonight’s Severance viewing. Because we are team players.
I often don't think to wear my rain coat when it's raining, but I have the last couple of days, and y'all know I love hyping things I like and I REALLY dig my Apricoat Adventure 2.0. Highly recommend it!
Saturday night, SKYROCKET! are playing 3TEN Austin City Limits Live and I’ll be sitting in on saxophone for a couple of tunes. Unless they pull the eject lever after hearing me play at rehearsal tonight. Either way, you should go. Great band who put on a great show!
