For those who wonder what "Alby Hub" is... it's the codename for our upcoming self-sovereign Alby wallet. Which in the coming weeks will become the default.
Crazy what you can do with it already.
So did I just create some cashu tokens with a reserve backed by my Alby Hub (running on a raspberry pi zero in my closet) and now I am pasting it into a nostr event, broadcasting that through some relays to you where you get it and now can claim it.
Do whatever you want with it... If you send it out to a lightning address for example the reserve will do that with my Alby Hub in my closet will do that.

Blink works if you stick with the trial acct.. though it has no backup so gotta sweep it often!

Alby works but I think now needs an invite.

no, that's not how it should be. As this is a new "wallet" in the extension you will be prompted for the permissions again, but should only be prompted once per site.

What is your preferred way of receiving notifications from apps? (e.g. email, mobile push notification, telegram, nostr dm,...)?

yep, I see primal does not handle the webln cancel. then there is currently sadly no way to see the invoice. when alby is called it assumes you also want to pay with alby.

thanks for the feedback. Keys are never stored on the server thus they can not be pulled from anywhere.
The reason why keys get auto generated was to make it easier for users to get started - it was a often requested feature.
The tricky here is that the Alby account with the lightning address is independent of the key - keys are never stored on a server and thus you have to enter those.
Would you like to store an encrypted backup of the keys and with that make it easier to recover them in such a situation?
