Setting up wallet is always nerve wrecking for me. Afraid of making stupid mistake and lost it all
I ended up always try to receive small amount first in the wallet. Test if I can really send from that wallet, then only will I then feel safe to transfer the rest..
Afterwards it feel good though. Knowing that my savings is full reserve, not fractional reserve. Without any counterparty risk as well.
If there is a rail however it's a bit weird that my hand can't easily let go of the railings and my neck want to peek out to the abyss
I doubt coinbase will be able to add lightning unless they change the PIC for lightning there

I was wrong. It does show all notification. You just need to ensure the notification is using global instead of all follow. It's on the very top of notifications tab
