11 hours ago, i reset my relay cache that syncs/broadcasts to 8 different servers. Since then, the relay disk size is now 1.5 GB. That is a lot of data in 11 hours. Considering they are mostly spam posts andn foreign posts you can't understand, nostr relays need to be improved quickly or it will not be viable.

In comparison, My mostly-spam-free relay is only 2GB after a week or so using Ditto! Much better.
Let's say that in 24 hours, the disk size will be 3 GB per day. That means 93GB of disk space is needed just for a month!
Sure, you can run your only relay that does not sync to any other server and save a lot of costs, but that's no fun because your clients will do all the work and kill your battery/data plan
