In my drunker moments, I’ve wanted to argue that the CIA et alia need to start infiltrating these mosques to influence their adherents with more liberal and secular values, but I suspect there’s not much of a market for Liberal Islam with some of these types.

In contrast, this shift just isn’t happening to the youth in the US.

OTOH, immigrants are “normalized” in the US.
