I’m really concerned how so many of the population doesn’t see this, or doesn’t seem to be interested. Everything is ‘conspiracy’ for them because of the broken internet and social media system. Let’s hope developments like Nostr can finally break this view for the ‘normies’ as well

Just checked a normal block in mempool:

41,200,000 sats, or $9,626 in a random block I checked.

So unless Udi got a discount, he just burned alot of money on this. The ordinals that spam the blocks will become very expensive as bitcoin increases in value.

It certainly doesn’t have to be bitcoin, you could accept credit cards and whitelist pubkeys. We just prefer lightning ⚡️
