Now that WaterGaetz has proven to be a scandal too far for even Republicans in the Senate, the anti-Trump coalition should train their political fire on Gabbard, Hegseth and Kennedy, in order to make them politically unpalatable as well. Everything possible should be done to sabotage the incoming administration, especially given the awfulness of their nominees. Enough with the stupid pretense that “we all want the next president to succeed.” That may be true with normal presidents-elect, but Trump’s “success” will mean utter disaster for America. The only way that we are going to survive the next four years is if the next administration is made into a rip-roaring failure from the get-go.
