And now for “The Fantastic Four: First Steps.”
Please don’t suck.
And now for “F1.”
Please don’t suck.
Can we arrange for the Epstein files to attend a Coldplay concert?
And now for “Superman.”
Please don’t suck.
Please congratulate the new fellow at the Harvard Institute of Politics, Linda Yaccarino. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/07/09/technology/linda-yaccarino-x-steps-down.html
Of the many truly ridiculous claims made by our dimwitted pseudo-president and his administration of grifters, liars, crooks and other assorted crap piles-cosplaying-as-human-beings, perhaps the most outrageous and offensive is the claim that the Trump administration is dedicated to fighting and eradicating anti-Semitism.
Take a look at the link, and then, tell me whether that claim can be made with anything resembling a straight face.
And now for "Mission Impossible--The Final Reckoning."
Please don't suck.
And now for "Thunderbolts."
Please don't suck.
Someone let me know if I am doing this meme right.
The Trump administration decision to shut down the Voice of America, along with Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty and Radio Free Asia is yet another gift to authoritarian leaders everywhere. It should now be clear to even the most blind that not only does Trump intend to destroy civil liberties in the United States, he also intends to ensure that no one gets any civil liberties overseas, overturning 83 years of America fighting on behalf of freedom lovers everywhere.
I hope that lowering the price of eggs--and they haven't been lowered, by the way--was worth this and all other obscene acts by this reprehensible president and his equally despicable enablers.
Instead of watching the Nuremberg Rally at the Capitol—which the Trumpenvolk tried to trash on January 6—I am watching "Captain America: Brave New World."
Sam Wilson is a patriot. Donald Trump and his supporters are traitors.
"Stunningly contemporary ring" is putting it mildly.
The "Russia, Russia, Russia" charges that Donald Trump constantly whines about turned out to be right, right, right. Everyone who ever said that Trump was and is, at least, a useful idiot—if not an outright agent—of Russia and Putin has been entirely vindicated.
If only Donald Trump had behaved towards Volodymyr Zelensky with the same sense of courtesy and solicitude that he showed Andrew Tate.
Thanks to everyone who greased the skids for the below by claiming that Joe Biden was senile just because he stuttered, that Kamala Harris's laugh was intolerable, and that it was right and proper to throw an insensate fit about the Gaza war by voting for *Donald Trump,* of all people.
You idiots.
"The United States under Donald Trump is not retreating into isolationism. It is actively joining the authoritarian camp, supporting right-wing authoritarians around the world from Vladimir Putin to Viktor Orbán to Nayib Bukele to Narendra Modi. The National Endowment for Democracy may well be reborn as the National Endowment for Dictatorship. How can we tell Russia and China not to continue their conquests when we are busy trying to absorb Panama and Greenland? These foreign policy moves are completely consistent with the Trump administration’s assault on the rule of law domestically, its strengthening of executive power and its weakening of checks and balances at every point.
"Don’t tell me that the American people voted for such a world or such a country last November. They weren’t paying attention, and should be prepared to see their own country and world transformed beyond recognition."
Here is the thing about people who state that they want to be a "dictator on day one": They decide on day two that they would like to be dictators forever. Cincinnatus was the exception, not the rule. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2025/02/20/trump-third-term-king-unconstitutional/
Stockholm Syndrome is a hell of a thing, and the hostage-takers aren't even pretending that they aren't taking hostages.
