The grand inquisitor is winning.

He will have to be vanquished through personal responsibility and courage.

That excerpt from TBK is one of the best things you've shared. Idk if your remember sharing it.

It made a big impact on me, and also challenged and refined how I thought about and understood free speech and liberty in general.

I'm used to reading stuff that you put out. Listening to you in interviews is weird.

Btw I'm a few chapters into Bitcoin is Venice. It's a tough read and I love it precisely because of that.

Spending time to consciously curate the kind of information you consume will be very helpful.

>Youtube is quite responsive when you indicate 'not interested' and if you 'like' a particular video. It will improve your feed.

>Deleting watch and search history can reset your recommendation algorithm.

>You can also choose to watch videos solely from channels you've subscribed.

Similar things should work for the rest of social media but unfortunately their algorithms are not that responsive. Nostr fixes this.

100% net positive.

I cannot imagine life without social media. The amount of things I learn everyday is absolutely staggering. The key has been to curate and filter out the information I consume.

Nostr can take this to the next level for people like me, if we can get people to widely adopt this protocol.

Finally understood the reason why Indian culture has gone to shit:

Adults have become government-worshipping statist cucks who would rat out their friends and family or offer no protection to them if the spooks ever came after them, their wealth or their property.

The family unit is such an important part of the Bitcoin movement in India.

Without the entire family understanding the importance of Bitcoin, your stack is always vulnerable.

The collectivists cannot win as long as families stick together.

On the other have, when your family is filled with pro-govt spooks, extra measures has to be taken to secure your stack and improve opsec.

Can potentially disrupt the $450 billion cloud computing industry

Nostr people so far don't exhibit this behaviour, and those who do don't get engagement at all

Lovely

Very few people will go down the rabbit hole of figuring out how Bitcoin's governance process works and come out of it without becoming a bit insane. The impossibility of it can bewilder any sane person.

I look at all the ferocity in calling for another consensus change so soon and I cannot agree with any of them.

Next change has to be done with incredible care.
