Yes thank you. When can we all just finally leave the trashy spyware behind and get on board with some tools that make sense. Keep building!

To be fair in an earlier episode somebody suggested reading out seed words in order to check whether people are still listening, and NVK literally read them, so there's a slight chance. I expected the sats to either be immediately claimed by a bot since they are distinct seed words or that nobody would figure it out... 😂
I literally listen to the end of each episode and feel embarrassed I did not catch this nor did the episode help me get to sleep as was promised.
Good luck !
The future is now: https://protonapps.com/
Wish that one company wasn't purchasing all these great open source privacy projects like simplelogin and standard notes however Proton has a stated commitment to privacy and security open source.
Still, yeah, all the eggs in one basket doesn't make me feel great. I guess over time all of these awesome open source projects that are aligned in principle will conglomerate together unfortunately.
I immediately looked this phenomenon up and found the following on the Internet:
"
Loonie Ladies
The Year: 1992
The Problem: Nude dancing is degrading to women and ruining the moral fabric of Alberta, Canada.
The Solution: Establish a one-meter buffer zone between patrons and dancers.
Sounds like total buzzkill! With puritanical intentions. What could possibly go wrong?
It turns out that dancers earn most of their money in the form of tips, and dollar bills don't fly through the air very well. Thus, the measure designed to protect dancers from degrading treatment resulted in "the loonie toss"—a creepy ritual where naked women are pelted with Canadian one-dollar coins, which are known as loonies.
Way to make the ladies feel special, Alberta. "

And then I scrolled down one post to the YouTube video link you posted....sorry.
So basically the meshtastic nodes(s)/gateways are the backhaul to post to a BBS or send email? Or am I missing something, specifically that this is also hosting a BBS and/or email server? Looks neat regardless. I've been finally starting to play around with meshtastic a little bit as well.
Good for you, i used Mac for a long time, then I had to use Windows for work which extinguished all joy... Then finally, I jumped into Linux full time and I've been so happy ever since. Sometimes I have to use Windows so I run that in a VM, but with enough RAM the world is your oyster. I am just a vanilla Debian user, and it's great. I've been enjoying KDE vs GNOME quite a bit. Welcome and enjoy!
Haha, exactly. I get excited when I see price dips and purchase more.
Started with some Dutch people who wanted to know if their boats were filling with water and sinking in their canals with semtec's LoRa module:
Did you ever try the things Network (TTN)? Or just the Lora-meshtastic integration?
