I have always struggled to get myself motivated to lift weight, or work out for that matter, but I’ve finally been doing it more consistently over the last several months.

Much more than simply getting more fit, I find that I have a lot more endogenous motivation to just do chores and other shit that I need to do, and I don’t slip into feeling depressed as I have a tendency to do.

While it was pretty hard to get myself out to my gym in my workshop at first, I’m finding more and more that it’s becoming easier to get myself out there to do it, and start my day on a good note that lets me have a productive day that I would have otherwise wasted.

It feels good man.

When I ate a lot of carbohydrates, no matter how thoroughly I brushed and floshed my teeth every day, my dentist would be like, “eh you could do better.”

When I sharply reduced my carbohydrates, even when I was a bit less thorough in brushing, my dentist would be like, “it all looks great, good job.”

Just my multi-year experience. I don’t claim to say it’s universal.

Yeah - it's tough. She was my kids first pet that they've lost (not counting the chickens which weren't pets).

One of the reasons we got her was because their other pets are getting very old & fragile now.

The corn is pumping but I don't really care. Feels weird. 🫂

My 3 year old border collie died this morning after being bitten by a paralysis tick.

We've just finished burying her on our property with her favourite orange ball. This is the spot where she destroyed the grass from her crazy running around.

Taking responsibility for all things can be very challenging & uncertain at times. I'm so grateful for our time together & very sad to see her go.

All I have left to figure out is paying my rent, bills, and groceries with bitcoin.

I know I can get a Walmart gift card but I hate Walmart.

Ideally, Costco and Publix gift cards.

I should really reach out to my local beef butcher as an alternative to buying beef from Costco.

Bills and rent are the trickier ones to tackle.

Im sure there is a work around somehow.

Getting gas with the Chevron/Texaco app and gift cards has been great so far though.
