Confesso que essa ideia do renascimento da internet me empolga bastante. Acho que na última década a tecnologia veio perdendo bastante daquela liberdade, da sensação de explorar o desconhecido, e do otimismo que existia antes.

Hoje os buscadores já não te mostram conteúdo realmente relevante. A maioria dos artigos online são cópias, ou de baixíssima qualidade, e mais recentemente existem sites repletos de conteúdo produzido por LLMs. As redes sociais centralizadas são basicamente fazendas de dados em massa para te bombardear com anúncios, além dos influencers e cultura de massas estúpida.

Acho que precisamos daquela internet onde existiam espaços para que pessoas inteligentes e inovadoras, piratas digitais, pudessem criar coisas novas, e ter aquela sensação de que estamos evoluindo e não retrocedendo em relação ao uso da tecnologia.

Yes, I don't disagree with that. But I wanted to say that I believe in the ability of the human species to deal with the entropy of the universe, which continues to degrade everything we have built.

The current economic system is a good example, I think almost everyone in Nostr agrees that it is a degenerate mechanism and that it encourages degeneration. To deal with this, Bitcoin was created and here we are fighting against the tendency of systems to break down. That's what I'm bullish about.

I'm bullish on mankind.

Only humans can keep getting beaten by the cruel indifference of the universe and keep pushing forward.
