I was seeing lots of error messages like this in my #strfry log files.

relay strfry[380]: 2023-08-11 10:38:22.717 ( 587.060s) [ReqMonitor 1 ]INFO| sending error to [16]: too many concurrent REQs

I think it was due to using a #Primal instance.

So I increased the amount of connections ( maxSubsPerConnection ) from the default of 20 to 50 , then 100, then 200.

Seems to have fixed it , or at least kicked the can further down the road.

I did a one-time code login.

Got the QR code.

Used another device to photograph that.

Displayed QR code photo on other device.

Switched back to Amethyst on original device.

Chose QR code rather than Alby icon in zap long-press screen.

Scanned QR code and three fields were correctly populated.

Zapped you successfully.

New phone... trying to get these seemless Zaps on #amethyst like I did on my last phone. I seem to remember just scanning the QR code from my alby wallet and now that doesn't work. Boo! Tried NWC too, and i see it's approved but it doesn't zap. I'll have to try when I'm out of work and back home 😔

I switched from the the f-droid version to the play store version and back , and am going through the same puzzle.

I listen to a lot of podcasts so I Was excited about the #fountain platform.

To start with I was excited earning a few sats by listening to my regular podcasts... But over time excited about contributing back to the content creators.

Day one my "earnings sats" was spinning but nothing was earned.

Now the earning is just greyed out.

Contact with support didn't help... They told me to "wait a few days", "try a different device"... Nothing very helpful unfortunately.

I will give #fountain a pass for now...

I had a similar experience and dropped it too.

I tried that; but it was no big use. Though I did set up systemd units for this purpose too to have a linked tree of jobs and dependencies that could spin it up. In fact, it's templated. If I were to do `systemctl enable strfry-stream@nos.lol` it would bring up a bi-directional streamer. Haven't toyed around with much else. But, it works, is fast, self-contained and consumes but a fraction of all my other services.

Yes. I was surprised at how little resources the container needed.

I took it down to just 1 Gb of memory at one point, but it needed about 4 Gb to compile from source.
