Technically still passive RFID so long life span. But has bigger read range for sensor so in my design the pandas are more likely to be picked up by sensor. And I'm hoping that lil extra sun power gives me a lil more area for my cryptographic engine. I'm about to research more into that now. It says it's lightweight but need to find an implementation that's less than 3K GEs and so far only seeing 7K.
