I’m glad Elon is stepping down however with the appointment of a woman CEO I can’t help but think of the “glass cliff” phenomenon. Where women are promoted during times of decline or crisis. Then when they inevitably struggle or fail. Their failure is used to reinforce already sexist ideas about women in leadership.
