I think I can integrate TOR directly into my client (no need to have Tor installed) and connect to relays for private direct messages and encrypted group chats. Do you guys think there is interest for this? Or should they (the users) handle setting up Tor manually themselves if they want to?

first focus is private direct messages and group chats. there are already many social clients out there. everything takes time.
