Just a random Bitcoiner.

Yes. It had been very little covered in western media.

The average American certainly has never heard it

No. But he openly states that he disputes Ukrainian being an own people and Ukraine being anything but a Russian province, that swindled it's way to "independence".

No news to anyone who cared to listen, but it being spoken out loud to an English speaking world audience is a first i think.

Let's see what conclusions are being taken

Porzingis is a breaker of hearts. I want to believe, yes, but damn when was the last time he played a full season?

Difference is that now there are regulations enacted that declares literally any service that custodies even small amounts a Money Service Business (CASP in the EU), requiring them to KYC all users.

That wasn't there before.

Fedis might still work for a while though, especially if the amounts are kept smal, cuz they generally don't bother going after small fish. But if major funds, especially from "illicit" sources is being moved thought mints, then Tornado Cash treatment may await

I mean, you could just look at their code in GitHub to see how it works.

Oh wait...

I'm halfway through the audiobook of nostr:npub1a2cww4kn9wqte4ry70vyfwqyqvpswksna27rtxd8vty6c74era8sdcw83a's Broken Money and it's really good so far. What I appreciate most is that she goes into the details of working on the financial system, down to a low level. Most descriptions I've read were too abstract, she shows how do the books of FED, treasury, banks, etc look, exactly.

This part is actually from her blog here:

https://www.lynalden.com/money-printing/ (whole blog is great, but I'm mainly talking about "Bank Reserve Accounting Examples" section).

I also like that she describes the current system in terms of combined petrodollar and eurodollar system, which is important to understand.

Does it have lots of charts/tables? Was considering getting this as an Audiobook, but perhaps not smart, if it has lots of exhibits that get just in an audio version. Thoughts?

But exactly that strategy can be done with *any* Lightning wallet.

- Open a big channel (either from the LSP in case of Zeus, Breez, Mutiny etc, or you open one yourself to a good routing node)

- Spend or swap out with Boltz of you need inbound.

- Optional: swap in via Boltz to refill the channel if you need to make bigger payments.

You don't really need the whole splicing thing
