awesome, that's perfect
I see you just because jb55 commented.
yeah, for some reason I thought it was a human escrow. no, this is better. but still would be nice to open up for different bot instances.
also for some reason I assumed it was a bot. if it's not a bot what is it then?
I think I have no other criticism and this is looking good.
I am now using this: https://github.com/matterhorn-chat/matterhorn
I would pay for a similar UI for nostr
Nostroid is making progress. Check it out at https://chat.nostr.info or watch this short video of the latest features: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxVVD-m_gx8
after trying to use it I am almost convinced it as fast as it claims to be, but still not 100% -- but it still feels more a devtool than an actual app (note I do not care for eye candy, just functionality)
I didn't even know browsers showed or not showed a green lock based on the presence of http images
how is it censorship-resistant if you are running the bot yourself in your server? (or someone else)
it would be truly censorship-resistant if this wasn't a bot, but a standalone app in which people could send themselves these events, then picking some other user as the escrow as they please.
this is a good idea, but I wrote it more than 3 years ago and no one has ever used it. I found it by chance today: https://github.com/fiatjaf/ssb
this is the only SSB that has a chance of working: https://ssb.fiatjaf.com
you must follow these easy three steps:
1) send a pull request adding a button to revoke a domain's permission
2) wait until I merge and publish
3) click that button
nos2x for firefox 1.4.0 released. now it will behavior like the chromium extension and return the full signed event from window.nostr.signEvent() and not just the signature.
I want this
maybe you should try turning your computer off and on again
Bitwarden is really good.
please don't focus on web, web is shit
maybe the fix for spam in these chat groups is to have relays that only accept events for specific groups, like for example a wss://nostr.freenode.net, and then you can have the "bitcoin" group inside the freenode relay and everybody agrees to only use freenode, which has a light registration policy for people to talk in its groups
and if people got mad at freenode because of anything, they could easily switch the group to wss://nostr.liberachat.org by just replaying the messages to there and posting new messages there
some people could keep living on freenode if they wanted to, but eventually all the freenode haters would stop reading from freenode, so the freenode users would be isolated there -- which is fine
yes, they can be in multiple relays, why not?
when trello on nostr
good question, I have no idea of how many a browser can handle and how many resources each consumes, I guess somewhere between 15 and 40 lies the maximum number.
