Lol yeah I look young too. I oscillate between giving people shit for being ageist against either young or old people and just taking the complements or assumptions in stride. There is no universal standard for looking/acting/thinking your age, wish people knew that. Everyone is different and it's not caused solely by "time."

Yeah I'm not sure about him either, but unlike pessimists, I remain just that: unsure. I'm not gullible. I'm wise enough to remain uncertain, about everything.

Milei seems more likely than not to be the real deal, but especially with him now in politics, I am skeptical about his actions going forward, regardless of intentions and even regardless of proper understanding of the theory. Power necessitates ungodly compromises, even for the truly virtuous.

#JavierMilei #WEF How did he get away with giving this awesome speech at Davos??

Someone in on some media said that Bitcoin is not sound momey because it's not government sanctioned (stupid, I know) and so therefore it's not sound money but rogue money.

There is SO much to unpack in that section.

I was just thinking about it today.

I feel like that's ultimately an anarchist stance in a way: the concept is that your ultimate authority is God, and that supercedes everything. Caesar literally owned the money they used, in a way. To be righteous goes beyond societal structure, it is something immediately actionable. I also think that the form of the argument invokes the concept of property in a way that suggests that one should be aware of ownership claims in the world and respect them, but only in as far as they do not conflict with what God wants for us.

One can deduce from a lot of what Jesus said anti-authority messages, though this particular one is not so clear-cut.
