First really nice day since we’ve been back in Texas, it’s mid 70s, good time to try to work outside. https://cdn.nostrcheck.me/3e48885df3b413cab10cda3032d520e9f7f88dc249cda84aaa51bf55b2272a7c/33f97cb5c3a87dbb63eea6bd5c12c53e7c43c8932af6961009d30cb4a8a5f861.webp

My new social media plan …
The best advice I could give anybody is, ignore the news for a few days. For real, the chaos isn’t going away anytime soon, you won’t miss a thing. Unless you care about who wore what at the Grammys.
I haven’t owned an air cooled VW for over 30 years but I really wanted this book again, just in case it disappeared from stores someday, so I just ordered a copy.

I just registered lonestar.social. I’ve seen many regions have their own #mastodon server and I’m gauging interest in a #texas masto server. Cheers!

Feeder is a nice RSS reader, I really love it. But I don’t $10 a month love it. I don’t think there is any kind of justification for an #RSS service to cost that much. I’m hosting my own CommaFeed instance for like $1.50 a month, and it’s completely mine. I could swing $5, but $10 is way too much.
If you wanted to build a site, that lasts say 40+ years with limited problems, you think it best to just do Vanilla JS, HTML, and CSS, forgetting all frameworks and such?
It’s been a bit since I hung a tv, but I think it went ok. From no TV in the kitchen to TV.

Since everyone on in the family watches YouTube but me, I finally made a family Google account for our TVs, so I don’t have to be tortured by listening to commercials from the other room. That is how badly I hate commercials. If it has a paid option to skip them, I’m buying.
I’ve spent the majority of my life wanting to write a book, at 52 I still don’t know what it is.
What does everyone do when you stumble upon a blog in another language? What is the best tool to translate (I would love to avoid google translate)?
