Thanks to some analysis from our intern nostr:npub17plqkxhsv66g8quxxc9p5t9mxazzn20m426exqnl8lxnh5a4cdns7jezx0 , according to opt-in AppStore analytics one of the biggest issues with Damus is user retention. 99% of people stop using damus after 6 months.

In the next version we will be looking at ways to get mores users to that β€œah ha” moment that gets them to stick around like all of us addicts.

Ideas welcome! Notifications is obviously a big one, but maybe we could make it easier to get people their first sats.

The memes keep me coming back

I have a feeling the globalists demolished it themselves because they began the process of reducing the population when it blew up and there was no investigation or follow up. It broadcast their intentions too directly.

Because bitcoin is long term? At this point it almost seems more like a stable place to retain value in your savings. Like buying gold. When I buy bitcoin I don’t think of it like trading but more like I’m putting money into savings, any minor fluctuations in the market are just the same as fees and taxes associated with a savings account.

Noam Chomsky wrote manufacturing consent in 1988 to show how the control systems are set up to only present the official elite narrative and how they rewrite history. 35 years later we witnessed them construct this same control system on the internet and with more draconian censorship models than anything Chomsky could imagine. They are manufacturing consent on steroids now. In fact I’m pretty sure he sides with the controlling establishment elite now more than ever.

Also interesting that he stated that the 20% of the population that is educated and especially those who will become teachers, or β€œcultural managers” as he puts it, have to be so completely indoctrinated into the system because they manage the perceptions of the other 80%. You can see how school systems are tied inherently with this control system and how much of a hold it has on anyone who goes through those indoctrination camps.

I agree. I think they learned a lot from occupy, they learned to never let people crowdsource support on social media unchecked. I think they were terrified of people like Aaron Swartz because he really show the power of internet influence against corporate and state power for the first time during occupy Wall Street. Then they learned how to push their own agenda movements through the same mechanisms and make it look like a grass roots movement (like identity politics, blm, covid, political division).

Good morning 😁
