10 Cidades Bitcoinizadas pelo Mundo

Esta lista busca mostrar os pontos de aceitação do Bitcoin por cidade, mas não é um top 10 ordenado e um cenário real, pois apenas se baseia nos dados cadastrados no #[0] e sem a total minuciosidade em separar cada ponto em suas devidas cidades, pela ausência de limites definidos no mapa.

Devido a essa imprecisão, as posições tenderão a dar maior destaque para a américa latina e o Brasil, que foram os mais analisados.

Devo salientar que os locais com maiores concentrações de pontos cadastrados não representam um maior nível de comunidade e nem de uso.

As 10 cidades:

1°) Cidade de Malay nas Filipinas, conta com 270 pontos cadastrados que aceitam Bitcoin, somente na ilha de Boracay, de apenas 10,32 km².

2°) A cidade de Lugano na Suíça com 75,93 km², que aceitou o bitcoin como moeda no dia 3 de março de 2022, atualmente já conta com 99 pontos que o aceita.

3°) São Paulo (São Paulo - Brasil) com 1.521,11 km², tem cerca de 97 pontos cadastrados.

4°) Buenos Aires (Argentina), com área de 202 km², tem cerca de 82 pontos cadastrados.

5°) Panajachel (Solalá, Guatemala), de 22 km², tem cerca de 57 pontos.

6°) Rolante (Rio Grande do Sul - Brasil), com área de 295,637 km², que através do grupo #[1] vem adotando o Bitcoin, tendo nas últimas semanas despontado em números, tendo 54 pontos cadastrados.

7°) Sevilla (Valle del Cauca, Colômbia), com área de 639 km², possui cerca de 46 pontos cadastrados.

8°) Perreira (Risaralda, Colômbia), com área de 702 km², possui cerca de 46 pontos cadastrados.

9°) Curaçao, país insular caribenho, com 444 km², tem 43 pontos cadastrados.

10°) San salvador (El Salvador), 620,86 km², possui aproximadamente 30 pontos.

*Bônus: Jijoca de Jericoacoara (Ceará - Brasil), com área de 201,858 km², onde está a Praia de Jericoacoara e o grupo Bitcoin Beach Brasil, possui 27 pontos cadastrados no Bitcoin Map.

I'll have to look into how this could be used for geospacial location of a merchant (perhaps with NIP-15 Marketplaces) and for profiles.

Could also be interesting to be able to list in a broad geographic area, rather than specific to the meter.

Thus you could search for stores in a geographic region as well as products and services, similar to Bitcoin Jungle, Bitcoin Beach, Oshi and BTC Map.

Hey #[0] love your service but just a suggestion: can you add details like on-chain, lightning, and contactless lightning to the Android app? It's already there on the iOS app and the website. Would love to have it in Android too.

I know how to insert the points in OSM, but I don't know how to insert the community.

I was thinking about this, Nostr profiles with geo coordinates could be interesting for this type of mapping.

Then what is the community based on? I'm in Portugal and I don't think there's a community where I live even though it's on the map. Just a lot of recent Bitcoiner immigrants who go to meetups.

Google Maps should have a feature to display whether a restaurant/cafe/bar accepts lightning payments

I find it extremely frustrating that you haven't made your app compatible with older models.

I have a Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro.

I'm not about buying every year or second year the latest model.

How difficult can it be to build a software App compatible with older models.
