Everything decentralizeable will be decentralized. Power, Data, Wealth, Money, fill the blank.

Sometimes I write thoughts down at the end of a long day based on experience or observation. It serves as a self reminder. These are some from the last few months :

You can’t control others, but you can control yourself.

Saying no sets boundaries. Saying yes opens doors. Finding the balance makes all the difference.

Those who do exceedingly well are laser focused on reaching end-goals. Those who don’t, are often focused on everyone else’s problems.

Only help people who are willing to help themselves

Personal attacks happen when one lacks constructive or substantial input in a discussion i.e they don’t know enough

I deeply appreciate people who don’t make every conversation about themselves, especially when they have a lot going on but choose to put others first.

If you are bitching about someone you love, either publicly or to your friends, you take away their dignity, because of your lack of emotional control.

If you need to feel loved by making someone jealous, then you are in a toxic relationship (and you might be the toxic one)

Distancing yourself from environments, people or triggers that fuel insecurity allows for better self-reflection and emotional growth

Knowledge boosts confidence.

Men harass women. Women harass men too. The fault is not men. The fault is harassment

Unsolicited advice often falls on deaf ears, especially if the person is not in a mindset to embrace change. If you are ready for change, you will be after people you look up to for advises, tips and tricks.

Surround yourself with people who find ways to make their lives better - be it health, thoughts, financially, growth and more.

Be with people who bring out the best out of you, not the worst out of you. Likewise, be someone who brings out the best out of someone else.

You are who you chose to engage in conversations with.

Remember to relax the brain.

Laughter is the best medicine.

Never settle for a checklist.

Happiness is the goal.

If you love, just love.

Peace of mind is the most precious thing in the world.

Sometimes, if you need to walk away, best to walk away quietly.

Very good points. Journaling can be so rewarding and helpful to reflect and evaluate things. 👍🏻

I have been very often critical of Bukele, especially of the state spyware Chivo Wallet, and of the statist propaganda of many bitcoiners who portray El Salvador as "Bitcoin heaven."

I must admit that it is good to read the president admit in his TIME interview that the adoption of Bitcoin in the country has NOT been the success that was expected.

Truth always wins.

TIME: I also want to ask you about the adoption of Bitcoin in El Salvador. (…) In your opinion, has it been a success?

BUKELE: Yes and no; a lot more could definitely be done. Bitcoin hasn't had the widespread adoption we hoped for. (…) It hasn’t had the adoption we expected. The positive aspect is that it is voluntary; we have never forced anyone to adopt it. (…)

For me, it is an option we have given to Salvadorans. I'm not going to say it's the currency of the future, but there's a lot of future in that currency.

TIME: You bet a lot on Bitcoin.

BUKELE: El Salvador invested $135 million. Now, we have $400 million in Bitcoin in the public wallet alone. (…) I feel that it could have worked better, and there is still time to make some improvements, but it hasn’t resulted in anything negative. On the contrary, it gave us branding, it brought us investments, it brought us tourism. (…)

In the end, the fact of being a “First Mover,” I think, gives us a small advantage, as far as it goes. I feel that it could have been much better. I wouldn't consider it a resounding success. Still, I do believe that the positive outcomes outweigh the negative.

„…it hasn’t resulted in anything negative. On the contrary, it gave us branding, it brought us investments, it brought us tourism.“

That are very valid and good developments. The problem was they just dumped Bitcoin into their society without a prior education campaign. As far as I understood it many people didn’t know what this whole thing is about. That is something many Bitcoiners are working on now.

I'm gonna bet they're using Primal and haven't tried other clients. Primal is brutal for setting up wallets (many issues on email confirmation denying request) on client and won't connect to anything else (nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm is still invite only... speaking of which? got any invites?)

I've used Amethyst for a while now with WoS but also have Speed Wallet and then theres nostr:npub1v5ufyh4lkeslgxxcclg8f0hzazhaw7rsrhvfquxzm2fk64c72hps45n0v5. Also playing with FreeFrom. nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg falters on zapping others without being able to connect. Fine for receiving. And they all have strengths and weaknesses. All these hookups show is how early we all are. But it's all getting so disjointed.

I am using Primal and it’s working fine. 👍🏻

Would not happen with my posts. ✌🏻⚡️

So if you want to fight frustration…😉😅

No worries. Have a great day, Nico!

Sounds very technical, could you explain what this is/is used for in an easier way? 🫣

Would give it a try. She looks friendly and competent.

This guy was so funny! Sad he already passed away (RIP) 🫣

🎯 This is the way to #Nostr!
