Any account that has account recovery instructions you can leave to a legacy contact should let you conduct trial runs to test those instructions.
Sign in to your account normally, go to the account security page, and begin an account recovery trial. You get signed out and to regain access, you have to use the same recovery instructions your loved ones would use.
If you get back in, congratulations! Here’s a service credit or premium status badge!
If your legacy contingency plan fails, your account access returns to normal after an hour. The next time you sign in, you get directed to a training flow.
Think about the peace of mind and confidence in your service that would bring.

I’m excited to show you the progress I’ve made with user profiles on nostrcheck-server. These serve as vanity profiles but also allow you to manage your Nostr profile, uploaded files to servers (NIP96 and Blossom), relay management, and more.
All of this will be available in the version I’m about to release, where anyone can become a service provider for Nostr. By the way, it will also support Lightning payments, both for user registrations and file hosting. Users on your server will be able to decide whether their files are visible to everyone or if payment is required to view them. All of this comes with a user-friendly interface and is 100% open source

The protocol’s latency tends to degrade quickly over distance. Within a few feet, it’s great.
I’ve heard there’s some IRL protocol where that works, too.
