Solo instalar en chrome y listo, no tiene mas misterio, eso si, en chromiun o derivados no me funciono, solo chrome.
Para convertir la clave privada a hex puedes usar diferentes herramientas, si no le tienes miedo a la linea de comando te puedo recomendar algunas, pero si quieres algo rapido y sencillo puedes usar https://nostrcheck.me/converter/ , copiar y pegar tu clave privada en cualquier web no es lo mas recomendable, sin embargo en esa web puedes hacerlo offline (entras a la web, te desconectas de internet, conviertes y sales) y es de confianza.

None of them implement nip42 I think, but you can always connect to your relay if you have it exposed to the internet
