Thats nice prototype, something like this would be cool. I imagine that can be a local feature, like you save you stalked/subscribed conversation locally and your client check if there are new things when open it, so you don't expose your stalks, and you can do it by now since doesn't need a new nip or whatever

Would love to have a kind of subscription for threads, sometimes i find interesting conversations and would be amazing to be notified when there are new comments

nostr:npub1yzvxlwp7wawed5vgefwfmugvumtp8c8t0etk3g8sky4n0ndvyxesnxrf8q is your native client open source? Just wanted to see what it is using as a framework/language. Really impressed with how smooth it is 🐶🐾🫂🎉

Nice! Following some svelte/ndk tutorials by nostr:npub1zuuajd7u3sx8xu92yav9jwxpr839cs0kc3q6t56vd5u9q033xmhsk6c2uc Finding svelte quite helpful as a noob. Wish there were a few more like this on svelte.

Yes! nostr:npub1zuuajd7u3sx8xu92yav9jwxpr839cs0kc3q6t56vd5u9q033xmhsk6c2uc tutorials are pretty good! looking forward for more. For pure svelte i have other channels that do a pretty good job.

It's no better or worse, and I don't have much experience with next, although I do know its benefits. I like svelte because it has some very useful and interesting features out of the box, like native reactivity, global status system based on stores, between others, plus the code syntax is pretty clean.

breaking: svelte 5 alpha

Woohoo! svelte 5 its coming

My brother shared this link with me and it actually made me think....

On one hand, this personal clip on AI device is creepy af, and will definitely result in some Black Mirror like situations.

On the other hand, the phone certainly won't be our last computing interface. We're getting closer to a new paradigm in how we interact with the digital world. I'm not sure what that will look like but it's likely a combo of AR and voice, all seamlessly backed by LLMs.

This product looks like a legit (and very creative) step forward, I'd be excited to try it out under one of two conditions.

1. We figure out how to properly do data privacy/sovereignty at scale.

2. We get better governments.

Unfortunately, I'm fairly sure that number 2 is off the table until a catastrophe forces it. So let's talk about number 1.

Part of why I'm so bullish on and committed to #Nostr and freedom tech more broadly is that I really want crazy future technology. I want an AI assistant that goes through my entire life with me, helping to do more, and do it better. BUT, I'm not willing to trade my freedom for it. And in my mind, the only way to get those things while still retaining our freedom is to build a system where it's physically not possible for companies, governments, or anyone else to take our data from us unless we consent.

This is a radical shift from the "cloudify everything" world we live in now. Most people don't care enough to bother. Most governments and regulators are too stupid to understand the nuances or too crooked to care.

That's ok. We're going to win anyway. To borrow a phrase, freedom finds a way. We've might have a fourth turning to get through first but we'll get there. And it's going to be fucking awesome when we get there!

Until then, stay humble & stack sats.
