Yes. Just because was/I am turned off by the haughty arrogance and holier-than-thou attitude of some people in the Bitcoin space and prefer the lighter and more friendly Dogecoin community does not mean that I cannot fathom the value of Bitcoin.

Like I said, where we disagree is the idea that Bitcoin is the only possible way forward.

FWIW, I primarily hold Bitcoin and Dogecoin, not that it's any of your business and neither of us have any obligation to justify our decisions.

I use Dogecoin when I want to buy something peer to peer or internationally and Bitcoin for sitting on. The other stuff is just fragments of ETH and LTC that I'll likely swap out at the next bullrun.

And Dogecoin is not a token.

Respectfully, if you believe in decentralization but only if all of your money is in Bitcoin then you might not be as tied to the concept as you might think.

I never said I was a Dogecoin maxi, only that it's my favorite coin and community.

Oh, I understand Bitcoin I just don't agree that it is the only path forward. And, speaking honestly, it was actually my experiences with the Bitcoin community in 2012/2013 that pushed me away from Bitcoin and into Dogecoin.

That said, we don't have to agree on every point in order for us to agree that whatever's happening out there, freeing yourself from fiat markets as much as possible is probably for the best.

No one touches your money except you.

You are free to give your money to whomever you deem worthy.

Please note: Most major Governments hate both of these ideas - especially of opt-in funding for their activities and losing control of citizen wealth - and as such will likely be very cross with you, especially if these ideas become popular.
