If they really cared about it they’d cut out all the electives and extras like the 50 bucks a semester every student at the college I went to was charged for the gym whether they went to it or not.
Do you know what you want to study? That much debt is a huge risk to take. I went to college to study what my dad wanted me to and shocker I couldn’t stay motivated so I failed out. Now I work at the local manufacturing plant after a couple of years stocking shelves and putting in a new application every six months. If I had it to do over I’d do that right out of high school.
Buddy of mine has one. I’m still rocking my 590a1. If I need more than 9 shells and the bayonet I shoulda went with the AR15, the M1 carbine, the FAL, the AR10 or the 1919. Course at 30 pounds plus a 200 round belt of 7.62 nato without the tripod the 1919 might not be the best choice in all circumstances.
It is kind of freeing to live in a place where my vote doesn’t matter. The republican primary is the election. At all three levels and that’s decided by a clear enough margin that it doesn’t matter if I vote or not. I usually don’t even bother.
You know that part in the first Tremors movie where Fred Ward and Kevin Bacon can’t believe they turned down free beer? I just put all my bonus and selling back vacation post tax windfall towards paying off debt. Kinda feeling like Earl and Val right now.
Turkey started. Butter, salt, pepper, garlic, onion and fresh rosemary out of my sister’s garden. I cut it and then put it on the Turkey fresh. Hope everyone is having a good Christmas.
Is this like mandatory fun time such as the unit Christmas party in the army?
Halfway through what would have been my last shift of the year if I hadn’t volunteered to come in a couple days over shutdown.
Almost all of then between mom and dad.
I also learned that the fair is in October(when the state fair happens in South Carolina)
Hardly seems like it’s been 10 years since that Christmas party but I guess it has. Now I feel old.
Yeah. People like to be on their team regardless of nuance. When it came up that I’d be skipping Christmas with the family if I had the sniffles during the pandemic it was because I was scared about covid and not because a family member has almost no immune system and has to worry about dying if she gets a cold.

Today at 12:00 CST.
Dr. Ken Berry is going to join me for this one, but if you think I am going to beat you over the head today with why you must go full on Keto, it isn't going to happen.
We are going to talk about that for sure but we are going to cover 6 different dietary regimes today that will help you find a healthier lifestyle in 2024 and plenty of it isn't Keto or Carnivore.
Never let it be said that Jack & even Ken, can't be flexible.

Good stuff. I’ve got an aunt that’s at the come to Jesus it’s time to change or it’s to late stage of the standard American diet. I hope this helps her.

Every time I think about composting I think about the few times we definitely did not set my mom’s compost pile on fire adding in ashes from the wood stove when I was a kid.
