I see so many great people on Twitter with thousands of followers getting very little engagement on Twitter…maybe due to shadow banning. Sometimes I try to convince them to create a Nostr account, but they don’t seem interested. Centralized social media platforms have so much abstract power over its users.

Serious question. What happens under the hood when an account is deleted? Does it send a message to every relay to delete all previous notes? Does the private key stops working?
