This was taken on Jan 25th 2020 during a snowshoe hike at the Mont Pioui and Mont du Lac des Cygnes in Charlevoix, Québec, Canada.
It’s a 11km hike in one on the most beautiful area of the province. This lake is frozen solid and you could cross it to get to the mountains but the trail takes you all around through some rocky areas overlooking the valley, where the snow is wiped by the winds.
It’s nice to have real winters and real summers. Every season brings something interesting to look forward to year after year. 
Really the tech world is a source of FOMO right now. I wonder if our brains are adequately constructed currently to face this pace.
I wonder how we will evolve to keep up with our own tech evolution adequately.

What is Nostr Wallet Connect? (NIP-47)
Nostr Wallet Connect (NWC) allows users to import their existing bitcoin lightning wallets into Nostr clients, allowing for one tap Zaps. This essentially makes Zaps as easy and as simplistic as Likes. You don't need to switch apps. You don't need to copy invoices. You don't need to enter amounts, if you don't want to. You just tap a note and your default amount is automatically Zapped to the note's creator.

What wallets support NWC?
At this time, it's just Alby and Umbrel Lightning node. As more clients adopt NWC, we'll start seeing additional wallets supporting this implementation as consensus around this feature grows.

At this time, it's just Amethyst, but very soon Damus users will have support for NWC. If your client doesn't support it, you can always ask your client's developers and entire them with sats 😉 Everyone loves sats.

Every time a news like this comes out, it reminds me of the early days in the mid 90’s when a new version of Windows was coming out. It was so exciting as a user and as network admin! That would mean hours of rebuilding machines and trying stuff. Learning!
Back then, Microsoft dev cycle was counted in years!
Now with nostr, it’s not every 3 years that we get new goodies, it’s every three days. It would be a full time occupation to keep up and play with every new features, new apps, new clients.

The getting started for devs is a really good idea. And sandbox relays too.

Yes!!! I discovered them through #[3] and been using them and only them since! This is an excellent business model! Great player in the space and their customer service is first class!

Create an account. Make sure you use your npub and not your nsec 😅. This will give you a login key and a wallet ID. Make sure you copy paste those into a note on your iPad somewhere - you will need them to log in.
Then you can log in.
Then you type the title, description. Chose something that attracts people, that want to make them buy your creation.
Then you put a URL to the digital good: for example a link to one of your songs on YouTube or on wavlake). You could also upload something to nostr.build if you want.
And your price.
Click on Monetize. This will give you a link. Put this link in a note and publish it on nostr.
