those tribes had leaders or groups that held the monopoly on violence. that is what a government is.
I would argue that tribal leaders weren’t the same as today’s governments with their power to print money and enforce a monopoly on violence, they were decentralised, fluid and based on voluntary association. Bitcoin strips away that unlimited printing press and so without the ability to inflate the currency, how does a government maintain control? I get that most people don’t want self-sovereignty but the people that provide value want to be paid in value, what happens when those people lose faith in their government and their money and see there’s an alternative? In your eyes how does trustless money work alongside any size of government, what’s their purpose if I can exchange value p2p without them? And without productive people the state is only left with dependents (I understand this doesn’t happen overnight). The main problem I come across is the centralisation of AI and who controls that? I think governments or those that control them will either mutate into something even more unstoppable or become obsolete.
Tribes survived thousands of years without bureaucrats, taxes or regulations. The survival instinct is cooperation and voluntary exchange. Governments will never allow Bitcoin to truly succeed on their watch, it’s against everything they stand for. Do you see a world where they work side by side?

Loooong way to go yet my friend. Keep at it!
Guys…
Bitcoin and Government don’t mix.
Free markets and Government don’t mix.
Free speech and Government don’t mix.
Individual responsibility and Government don’t mix.
Never have, never will.
Governments depend upon the centralised currencies they control and without them they cease to exist.
This is a long and slow game that we are winning. Patience, Persistence and Peace! ✌️

Responsibility: The Finest Attribute of Man
Responsibility is the cornerstone of character—a trait that defines a person’s ability to navigate life with integrity and purpose. A responsible man embodies qualities that inspire respect, trust, and reliability.
The Traits of Responsibility:
- Respectful: Treating others with dignity, regardless of differences.
- Accountable: Owning actions and outcomes without deflecting blame.
- Trustworthy: Earning and maintaining confidence through honesty.
- Reliable & Dependable: Keeping promises and being someone others can count on.
- Self-Disciplined: Staying focused and resisting distractions to achieve goals.
- Aware of Obligations: Recognizing and fulfilling duties to family, work, and community.
- Honest: Speaking and acting with truthfulness, even when it’s difficult.
Emotional and Practical Maturity:
- Emotional Control: Managing feelings rather than being ruled by them.
- Punctuality: Valuing time—their own and others’—by being on time.
- Humility: Recognizing one’s limits and being open to growth.
- Courage: Facing challenges with a steady resolve.
- Decision-Making Skills: Weighing options thoughtfully and taking decisive action.
Actions That Reflect Responsibility:
- Consistency: Aligning words with actions, day in and day out.
- Organisation: Managing time and tasks effectively.
- Proactive Behavior: Anticipating needs and taking initiative.
- Planning Ahead: Canceling commitments with ample notice when necessary.
- No Complaining or Excuses: Focusing on solutions instead of problems.
- Admitting Errors: Acknowledging mistakes and learning from them.
The Bigger Picture:
A responsible man also seeks to uplift those around him:
- Mentors and Inspires: Serving as a role model to others.
- Respects Commitments: Honoring agreements and contracts.
- Leads by Example: Demonstrating integrity through action.
Responsibility isn’t about perfection; it’s about persistence. It’s a daily practice of owning your role in the world, adapting when things go wrong, and striving to be better. When we embrace responsibility, we not only elevate ourselves but also enrich the lives of those around us.
As a winemaker, you might assume I drink all the time. 🍷
The truth is, alcohol is powerful, addictive, and demands balance. Early in my career, I had to confront my relationship with it head-on, and it wasn’t easy.
When I started my winery, I had almost zero experience. To learn fast, I had to TASTE a ton of wine. But that quickly turned into DRINKING a ton of wine. At first, it was just a glass after work. Then it became earlier and earlier in the day. It didn’t take an expert to see where this was headed.
One month into an intense period of winemaking, I found myself drinking instead of spitting at 8 AM tastings. By noon, I was pouring myself glasses “just because.” No one else knew what was happening, but I realized I was on a slippery slope.
One morning, I woke up craving alcohol. That’s when it finally clicked—I was at the beginning stages of addiction. Mixing unlimited access to wine with alcohol dependency was a recipe for disaster. I had to make a decisive change to protect my health, my craft, and my future.
Finding YOUR balance is key. For me, wine isn’t an escape—it’s a tool to enhance life. A good bottle can elevate a meal into a memorable experience. It’s best shared with people you love. Love and moderation make those moments all the sweeter.
Don’t learn the hard way like I did. Drink to enhance, not to escape. Make the moments you do drink special.
That’s why I craft natural wines that help you feel good during and after drinking.
