modern architecture built with fiat is horrible. It’s dreadful to look at and made to crumble. The old world was made on the gold standard and pieces of it’s beauty still remain. The new world will be built with #bitcoin and made to last. I hope we return to building beautiful things.

When the Bankless crypto podcast hosts asked Linus if increasing the block size like with Bitcoin Cash (BCH), he responds by saying he would be open to a block size increase which can be done safely, as BCH did, and that BTC developers are more open to it in recent times despite the stigma surrounding the topic.

German lawmaker and Bitcoin activist Joana Cotar has urged the government to stop its “hasty” Bitcoin selling spree and instead adopt it as a “strategic reserve currency” to shield against risks in the traditional system.“[I] urge you to refrain from a hasty disposal of state-owned Bitcoin,” the Bitcoin-friendly politician wrote to members of Germany’s government on July 4. Cotar said Bitcoin could help Germany diversify its treasury assets, serve as a hedge against inflation and currency devaluation and promote innovation in the country.
