WORK AND RENUNCIATION
D: Is it possible to enjoy samadhi while busy in worldly work?
M: The feeling 'I work' is the hindrance. Ask yourself who works?' Remember who you are. Then the work will not bind you; it will go on automatically. Make no effort either to work or to renounce; your effort is the bondage. What is destined to happen will happen.
If you are destined not to work, work cannot be had even if you hunt for it; if you are destined to work, you will not be able to avoid it; you will be forced to engage yourself in it. So, leave it to the higher power; you cannot renounce or retain as you choose.

Everyone appears as buddhas in the eyes of the Buddha and everyone appears as pigs on the eye of the pig! (Buddhist saying). The world is experienced according to the state of one's mind.
When your mind is joyful and compassionate, the world is, too.
When you feel overwhelmed and busy, remember that you are not powerless.
When your mind rests, the world also rests.

The Love you're dreaming of, is being dreamt by the Love that You are.
Seeking it outside of Yourself, obscures the true Love that You are.
Let the mind fade Inwardly and diminish in Your aware Presence.
Be fully that thought free Silence from which seeking arises.
Nowhere to go.
Nothing to lose.
Nothing to find.
Just Be.
Open the door and step out, the path will be made visible.

God is with you at every step. For those who undertake the journey, it is a beautiful and miraculous fact that God is ever with them. Where God Himself is, no harm can ever affect them.
Sometimes one gets entangled. But those who are absolutely one-pointed and their only aim is to attain God realization, God is ever with them.

Guru means not an individual; the knower and witness of that principle, the consciousness,
which appears and disappears, is the Guru.
Who is a Sadguru?
He is that ever prevailing principle which witness appearance and disappearance of the unreal.

Real surrender means doing nothing, unless prompted by the Guru. You step, so to say, aside and let your Guru live your life. You merely watch and wonder how easily he solves the problems which to you seemed insoluble.

The greatest guru is your inner self.
Truly, he is the supreme teacher.
He alone can take you to your goal and he alone meets you at the end of the road.
Confide in him and you need no outer guru.
D.: I am always at your feet. Will Bhagavan give me some upadesa to follow? Otherwise how can I get the help, living six hundred miles away?
B.: The Sad-Guru is within.
D.: The Sad-Guru is necessary to guide me to understand that fact.
B.: The Sad-Guru is within you.
D.: I want a visible Guru.
B.: That visible Guru says that he is within.

How can the mind which has itself created the world accept it as unreal?
#SriRamanaMaharshi
Q: How to get rid of the mind?
Ramana: Is it the mind that wants to kill itself? The mind cannot kill itself.
Therefore, your duty is to find the true nature of the mind. Then you will know that there is no mind. When the Self is sought, the mind is nowhere. By remaining in the Self, you need not worry about the mind.
#SriRamanaMaharshi
Don't waste your time purifying the mind because mind can never be pure.
Even the desire to be pure is a trick of the mind.
And you need not drop the mind because it doesn't exist.
How can you drop something that doesn't exist?
