Keep your attention inside your Heart
The mind has a dilemma. It is afraid of change, deeper
change, yet the mind is attracted to life, which is change. Don't be mixed up in all that business. You merely observe, casually, passively and keep your attention inside your Heart.

The Heart Sutra says that there is 'nothing to attain.'
We meditate not to attain enlightenment, because enlightenment is already in us.
We don't have to search anywhere.
We don't need a purpose or a goal.
We don't practice in order to attain some high position.
In aimlessness, we see that we do not lack anything, that we already are what we want to become, and our striving just comes to a halt.
We are at peace in the present moment, just seeing the sunlight streaming through our window or hearing the sound of the rain.
We don't have to run after anything.
We can enjoy every moment.
People talk about entering nirvana but we are already there.
Aimlessness and nirvana are one.

What is perceived in this world is in the nature of a dream, similar to what one sees in dreams. The only difference is that the former takes place in the waking state and the latter during sleep. Albeit, I am always with you.

That Chitta is tripartite according to its functions, namely, ego, intellect and mind. When influenced by the three qualities, it manifests in greater details as follows:

By Tamas (darkness) earth, air, fire, water and ether.

Q: What is the purpose of meditation?
M: Seeing the false as the false, is meditation. This must go on all the time.
Q: We are told to meditate regularly.
M: Deliberate daily exercise in discrimination between the true and the false and renunciation of the false is meditation. There are many kinds of meditation to begin with, but they all merge finally into one.
Q: Please tell me which road to self-realization is the shortest.
M: No way is short or long, but some people are more in earnest and some are less. I can tell you about myself. I was a simple man, but I trusted my Guru. What he told me to do, I did. He told me to concentrate on ‘I am’ — I did. He told me that I am beyond all perceivables and conceivables — I believed. I gave him my heart and soul, my entire attention and the whole of my spare time (I had to work to keep my family alive). As a result of faith and earnest application, I realized my self (swarupa) within three years.
You may choose any way that suits you; your earnestness will determine the rate of progress.
Q: No hint for me?
M: Establish yourself firmly in the awareness of ‘I am’. This is the beginning and also the end of all endeavour.

(45) 'The state of being, that is the message ‘I am’, without words, is common to all, change begins only with the mind-flow'.
That stage when the message ‘I am’ had just arrived and was word free is common to all.
Everybody goes through this period, the non-verbal state, only knowing that ‘you are’ or ‘I am’.
In this stage there only exists the opposite ‘you are not’ or ‘I am not’.
Your movements from ‘I am’ to ‘I am not’ or vice-versa occur quite spontaneously with no volition at all.
Changes begin as soon you are taught words or language and very soon the concepts take over, your verbal life or the mind-flow begins.
Along with these come the three states of being awake, dreaming or deep sleep and you believe that you are an individual with a body and mind functioning in this world.
Then, you meet the Guru and you are told to rediscover this long lost wordless, nascent ‘I am’.
It is still there covered up and you now have to relive it - that is the nature of ‘Sadhana’ (the Practice).
One should live with the conviction that one is not the body, but the pure consciousness within the body.
The spring of Self-realization will flow from within.
'What God has created is given back to God. I do nothing' - this is the sign of a sincere devotee.
That which is motivating the body is the true devotee. He has a pure heart. He himself is God. He offers his body and awareness to God and then he remains as pure consciousness

I am the total functioning every moment, millions of years ago or now. Without me the functioning cannot take place. I do not want meek and humble disciples, I want them to be powerful, as I am. I do not make disciples, I make Gurus. I want you to jump in the test tube in the process of this investigation.

As soon as God is convinced that you are in earnest and nothing can turn you away from Him, then through the guru He gives you the final realization - the guru transmits to you the light of God that flows through him. Perhaps you thought you would never know such a blessing. That supreme experience I received from my Guru. He gave me by his touch what I could not attain by the power and effort of my meditations alone.

Can you show me God?

You can't see God because you are God!
How can you search for That which you are?
God is not an object that can be seen.
God is the subject. He is the seer.
Don't concern yourself with objects that can be seen
Find out who the seer is... You alone are God.
