Ribhu Gita
Translated from the Tamil version of the Ribhu Gita
Chapter 26
'Undifferentiated Abidance in the Non-Dual Nature'
#SriRamanaMaharshi often mentioned the Ribhu Gita in his teachings. It is reportedly said that he especially recommended the recitation of chapter 26, and that reciting it could lead one directly to the natural state or sahaja samadhi.
I have subdivided the chapter into four sections: the introduction, 'without a trace of sankalpa', 'I am that, that am I' and the concluding portion of the chapter.

Sahaja Samadhi:
You remain calm and composed even while you are active; you realise that you are moved by the deeper Real Self within, and you do or think unaffected by what you do, speak or think.
You have no worries, no anxieties, no cares.
For here you come to realize that there is nothing belonging to you, the ego.
And everything is done by Something with which you get into conscious union.
#SriRamanaMaharshi
Your worry is due to thinking.
Anxiety is a creation of the mind.
Your real nature is peace.
#SriRamanaMaharshi
Neglecting the modes of mind, look for the light illumining them.
The mind becomes still and the light remains self-shining.
#SriRamanaMaharshi
"All systems of thought postulate the three principles (i.e., the world, soul and God).
Only one principle appears as three principles. To say that the three principles ever remain as there principles is but so long as the egoity lasts. After the destruction of egoity, to remain in one's own state is best."
#SriRamanaMaharshi
A boy of eight and a half years sat in the hall at about five in the evening, when Sri Bhagavan went up the Hill. During His absence, the boy spoke on yoga and Vedanta in pure, simple and literary Tamil, quoting freely from the sayings of saints and the sacred scriptures.
When Sri Bhagavan entered the hall, after nearly three-quarters of an hour, only silence prevailed. For the twenty minutes the boy sat in Sri Bhagavan’s presence, he spoke not a word but was merely gazing at Him. Then tears flowed from his eyes. He wiped them with his left hand and soon after left the place saying that he still awaits Self-realization.
D: How should we explain the extraordinary characteristics of the boy?
M: The characteristics of his last birth are strong in him. But however strong they may be, they do not manifest themselves save in a calm, still mind. It is within the experience of all, that attempts to revive memory sometimes fail, while something flashes into the mind when it is calm and quiet.

True Knowledge
is being devoid of knowledge as well as ignorance of objects.
Knowledge of objects is not true knowledge.
Since the Self shines self-luminous, with nothing else for It to know, with nothing else to know It, the Self is Knowledge.
Nescience It is not.
#SriRamanaMaharshi
You are the constant illumination that lights up both
the experiences and the void.
#SriRamanaMaharshi
Meditation is by you of you and in you.
Abide in the knowledge 'I am'
Don't doubt its efficacy.
Try it.
#SriNisargadattaMaharaj
I do not want to teach anything to anybody; I only hold up a mirror to those who come here. I will make you stand before the mirror and look at yourself. You have to get the vision of yourself in the light that is emanating from your own Self.
#SriNisargadattaMaharaj
"Once you realise that the world is your own projection, you are free of it. You need not free yourself of a world that does not exist, except in your own imagination!
However is the picture, beautiful or ugly, you are painting it and you are not bound by it.
Realise that there is nobody to force it on you, that it is due to the habit of taking the imaginary to be real. See the Imaginary as imaginary and be free of fear."

"The more in harmony you are with the flow of your own existence, the more magical life becomes.
#Advashanti
Some realize the Self within them through the practice of meditation, some by the path of wisdom, and others by selfless service. Others may not know these paths; but hearing and following the instructions of an illumined teacher, they too go beyond death.
#LordKrishna
It is through your ignorance that all this exists.
In reality you alone exist.
Apart from you there is no one within or beyond samsara.

Life is a gift. It has been given to you for no reason at all.
You cannot have earned it, because how can you earn it if you were not? life is a gift, but we go on forgetting it, we are not even thankful.
We don't have any gratitude.
We certainly complain for a thousand and one things which we may think we are missing in life, but we never feel grateful for life itself.
#OSHO
For whom is sadhana?
Again it's for the mind and the ego.
If you think it's helping, by all means continue.
But remember I said, "If you think it's helping".
If you stop thinking you do not have to do any sadhana.
I suppose sadhana is necessary as long as you believe you are the mind and the body.
Again, after all, who is doing the spiritual disciplines?
Does the Self need to do that?
Does consciousness need to do discipline?
What needs discipline? The mind and the body.
Therefore the more you are attached to the mind and body the more you have to do sadhana.
