Leatherbacks and hawkbill turtles feed on jellyfish and keep their populations in check.

Unfortunately, plastic often looks like jellyfish and that's why so many turtles die from ingesting plasticβ€”they were going for a tasty snack.

The dire wolf returns after more than 10,000 years of being extinct.

The company looking to de-extinct the woolly mammoth, has brought back the dire wolf, which has been extinct for 13,000 years.

Colossal Biosciences, the genetic engineering company working to bring back the woolly mammoth, has actually already brought back two of its extinct Ice Age cohabitants: the dire wolf.

Romulus and Remus are genetically engineered modern wolves with around 20 genes edited to successfully mimic dire wolf traits.

A juvenile yellow boxfish keeping a close eye on me! The boxfish has an armored body and despite it not being aerodynamic, the fish has adapted its manner of swimming to compensate for the shape of its body. They use ostraciiform locomotion, which requires high-frequency oscillation of the caudal fin because the body cannot bend like other species of fish.

The great grey owl (Strix nebulosa) is a very large owl, but much of its size is deceptive. This species has fluffy feathers, a large head, and the longest tail of any extant owl. πŸ¦‰
