The beautiful thing about Nostr is that even when clients compete with each other, as long as each one brings in new users, everyone wins. And if someone is doing a better job than you in a certain area, you can focus more on the features that set you apart.

sorry, I didn't express myself well. Egui have lots of dependencies on single devs -- not a specific a one. There is no huge money flow making things work as Google did with Flutter. But when the ecosystem matures a little more and the risk deescalate, I probably would shift for egui

So i started to build a TikTok like app, i've spent about a week on it so far and it seems to work quite well actually, you can try it out on android and let me know what you think.

Time to build Ghostr for Android (our TikTok-like app on Nostr). I'm not proud of this version yet. Many many things to do, but it was honest work. Never shipped a mobile app before, so I learned a ton.
It is already the best video consumer app for Nostr imo. It loads stuff fast. Data plan killer, as a you would expect for TikTok-like app. Working on profiles & search next, but also fixing bugs.

Hmmm. Do you have a vectorized version of it?. I think my issue is with the colors. But my girlfriend loved and I very suspicious about my own taste
